You can search the site using one of two basic search methods:
Keyword search
To conduct a keyword search from the classifiedextra.ca home page, type the word in the "I'm looking for" box. Enter the city or postal code in the "Postal code or City" box. You can also specify a search radius using the button on the right. Click on "New search" to begin the search.
Category search
To search by category from the classifiedextra.ca home page, simply click on the desired category to bring up all the results in every region.
Regardless which type of search you conducted at the outset, you can modify its search radius, City or keywords, or search by subcategory or newspaper using the search parameters on the left of the screen.

Have you checked the dates on which your ad is running in the newspaper? Your ad will be posted on classifiedextra.ca as soon as it appears in the newspaper. Verify your keywords and make sure the words were spelled correctly. If you did a category search, it is possible you were not looking in the right category. The category in which your ad appears on classifiedextra.ca is not necessarily the same as the category in which it is listed in the newspaper.
Each participating newspaper has its own classification system for classified ads. For reasons of clarity and simplicity, we use a single system to classify all the ads from all the newspapers.
